Why it matters

A Google penalty doesn't stay on Google. It follows you into AI answers.

Ranking on Google still decides who gets seen, and more and more of that happens inside AI answers. When search stops trusting a site, those answers stop showing it.

01 · GOOGLE'S OWN SURFACES

No index, no answer.

AI Overviews and AI Mode are built on Google Search, and Gemini draws on it. A page Google removes can't be cited there.

02 · OTHER AI ENGINES

They lean on what search trusts.

Many AI engines search the web before they answer. A site search has stopped trusting is less likely to be retrieved.

03 · ONE FIX FOR BOTH

Pages Google would keep.

Useful, honest, on-brand pages are the base for SEO and GEO alike. That is exactly what we audit.

Engine names describe where answers appear. Content Apex is not affiliated with any of them.

Too much SEO

Your content looks good. Is it really?

Pages built to rank first and help second keep getting hit in core and spam updates, and Google keeps moving that way. What SEO and content teams miss, Content Apex is trained to spot.

64 Moderate riskImprove
01 · CORE UPDATES

Results get reshaped.

Core updates change what ranks. Over-optimised pages keep losing ground when they do.

02 · SPAM UPDATES

Demoted, with no notice.

An update can push pages down automatically. Nothing arrives in Search Console to explain it.

03 · MANUAL ACTIONS

Or a reviewer sees it.

Then it is a notice in Search Console, the fixes and a reconsideration request.

We estimate your risk. No one can know in advance what a specific update will change.

How it works

From one address to a decision on every page. The agent does the reading.

01 Add your site

Paste an address. Choose how Google sees it.

Read as a phone or a desktop. Every page is opened in a real browser and read from top to bottom, so content that loads late is not missed.

Why only one way per site?

Reading the same pages twice doubles the cost and adds nothing. You choose once; the choice locks after the first read.

02 Brand context

Your brand, filled in from your own website.

What you are known for, who you write for and what is off-topic for you. A casino page on a travel site is judged as off-topic, the way Google would.

03 The rulebook

The agent keeps up with Google first.

Google's published rules and the latest updates, kept current before every audit. When Google changes a rule or rolls out an update, the agent notices.

04 The live audit

Watch it read and review, page by page.

The agent opens every page, looks across the whole site and reviews each page with your brand in mind. You see where it is, live.

05 Scores and decisions

A score you can read at a glance. A decision you can act on.

Every page and the whole site get a Content safety score, higher is better. Each page gets one decision: Keep, Improve, Consolidate, Noindex or Remove.

Why is 95 the best score?

Nothing can be perfect. An audit sees the page, not who wrote it or the site's history, so it never calls a page perfect.

06 Evidence

Every finding quotes your page, word for word.

No vague advice. You see the exact sentence, what it puts at risk and the fix, worst first. Check any finding in seconds.

07 Patterns and risk

Some risks only show across the whole site.

Some red flags look fine one page at a time. The agent looks at the whole site and estimates your penalty risk, manual or algorithmic, with the reasons.

08 Trends

Fix, audit again, watch the scores move.

Every audit adds a point to each trend. You see what got better, what slipped, and which pages still need a decision.

What we check

Red flags, page by page. And across the whole site.

What Google would act on, judged with your brand in mind. You see the outcome here; the details are in your audit.

Penalty risk

Spam violations

The pages Google could act on, in a manual review or an update. Found before it does.

3 ways to be hit: a manual action, a spam update or a core update.
One audit looks for all three.
Trust

E-E-A-T violations

Pages that ask for trust they have not shown, flagged with the sentence that gives it away.

Helpful content

Made for people, or for search?

Pages Google may see as made for search first, and how far each one is from helpful.

Why trust it

Built from real penalty work. Honest by design.

Who built it
Made by an SEO lead who has worked through manual actions, spam updates and core updates. The audit checks what those cases turn on.
  1. The drop shows up in traffic or in Search Console.
  2. The causes are found, page by page.
  3. The fixes are made and documented.
  4. A reconsideration request or the next core update, then you wait.

An honest crawler

We name our reader and never disguise it. We read your robots.txt and show you what it says.

User-agent: ContentApexBot
robots.txt: read · in your report
Stealth: none

Your pages are data, never instructions

Text hidden in a page can't steer the audit. We flag any page that tries.

Code computes every score

The agent finds and quotes. Scores, bands and decisions are calculated from those findings by fixed rules.

You buy an audit, not a model

Plans are tiers, never vendor names. You pay for the audit, not the machinery.

Precaution or cure

Precaution is better than cure.

Find the risk now, or explain it to Google later.

Questions

Short answers.

Can you tell me if I have a penalty?
No. Only Google knows, and only manual actions show in Search Console. We show the risk Google's own rules would see on your pages, manual or algorithmic, so you can fix it first.
Can you predict a core update?
No one can know what an update will change. What updates keep hitting, over-optimised, unhelpful and scaled content, can be found in advance, and that is what we do.
Why is the best score 95?
Nothing can be perfect. An audit sees the page, not who wrote it or the site's history. 95 means we found nothing wrong.
Is this for GEO too?
Yes. Google's AI answers are built on Google Search, and other AI engines lean on what search trusts. A clean, trusted site is the base for both.
What does "your brand's context" change?
We learn from your own website what you are known for and what is off-topic for you. That is how a page that would be fine elsewhere gets flagged on your site.
Will your crawler cause problems on my site?
It reads politely, names itself as ContentApexBot and never disguises itself. You see what your robots.txt says in the report.
Do you write content for me?
No. We audit. For each page you get a decision, the reasons, the quotes and the fixes, worst first.
